Southern Region Vice President: Anita  Zhao

ABOUT ME: Hey everyone, my name is Anita Zhao, Nevada FBLA’s Southern Region Vice President. I’m very excited to serve on the state board this year, and be apart of this amazing chapter. I joined FBLA as a sophomore with no knowledge and purposes being in the organization. However, after attending the State Conference, I realized how FBLA could open so many opportunities. Three years ago I wouldn’t have the courage to go and introduce myself, I was shy and stuck in my own space. After joining this organization I have advanced so much as an individual, and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without FBLA!

ABOUT ME: Hello. My name is An Truong. I am a senior in the Business Management program at West CTA. I am serving as our FBLA chapter's President for the 2015-2016 school year. My position as President is to help assess my fellow officers in their duties and prepare members of our FBLA chapter for the events that our chapter participates in. I am to lead our members in our achievements for this year. I help coordinate with each of the other officers in their individual tasks. I joined FBLA in sophomore year with the encouragement of my friends. At first, I only came for the honorary credits the organization offered, but after attending the FBLA State Conference in Reno in 2014, I was completely captivated. I experienced networking with other FBLA members within Nevada and developed more leadership skills. I even gained public speaking abilities in the process, something I never imagined I'd do. I look forward to leading a great year of new experiences for our chapter! CONTACT INFO: an.650280@nv.ccsd.net

ABOUT ME: Hello! My name is Aine Buckley, and I am your Executive Vice President for this school year. I am currently a senior is the HSB Business Management program, here at West. As your Executive Vice President it is my job to assist our President, An, as well as the other officers and members with anything, FBLA related or not. A few of my primary responsibilities include meeting our chapter goals, such as gaining membership, and fundraising. I am also in charge of our chapters relationship and participation with the March of Dimes, which you will hear me talk extensively about. I joined FBLA by sophomore year of high school, just as a member, but my FBLA career continued on. Last year I was the FBLA Secretary, and this past year I ran for the Nevada Vice President of Membership, which I highly encourage to do, even if it’s just for the campaigning experience, and now I am the Executive Vice President of our chapter. I am available anytime if you have questions or concerns, thank you.

VP of Membership: Adrian Lee

ABOUT ME: I’m Adrian Lee, a junior in Business Management, and your chapter’s Vice President of Membership! Ever since joining the organization during my freshman year, I’ve been amazed with what the members and officers do together. When I was a sophomore, I was elected into office as the treasurer. I got to experience all that made FBLA fun. Participating in competitive events, meeting other amazing members from different states, feeling the thrill of winning and travelling to several scenic locations are just a few of those experiences. I ran to become the VP of Membership because I want to extend my passion and enthusiasm to my fellow members. I hope to see many members succeed in this organization and realize that they have all the talent and potential that FBLA looks for!

ABOUT ME: Hi there! I'm Michelle Phan. No, I'm not the Youtuber (I wish!), but I am your chapter's Vice President of Public Relations! Well, to start off, I welcome you to WCTA FBLA site and I hope you enjoy your stay here! How do you like the place? This was one of my big tasks as your VP of Public Relations and will be one of the many things that I'm here to do for you all this year. I am a junior in the Business Management program, and joined FBLA as a freshman. Although, this year is definitely my most exciting and most active year of FBLA! Two of my favorite things in the entire world include friends and traveling. I also love to talk. You have no idea how hard it was for me to write this paragraph without mentioning the most random things and making it a page long. Back to the point, I want to thank you for expressing interest in not only FBLA, but my boring life by reading this! You're pretty awesome! I'd love to see you at our meetings! If you have any questions at all, feel free to contact me!! I hope to see you soon! :-)

Treasurer: Crysty-Ann Olaco

ABOUT ME: The name’s Crysty-Ann and I'm so happy to say I get to serve as your 2015-2016 treasurer for the upcoming school year! This year, I'll be a junior in the Nursing program, and right off the bat, I know what you're thinking. It seems a bit unorthodox for a Nursing student to even consider joining such a business-oriented club, and I agree, but nonetheless, I still told myself "Why not?" As Audre Lorde once said: "It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences." Despite only taking part in West's FBLA chapter for a short period of time, I see how many opportunities I have already opened for myself, and the endless possibilities I have yet to reach. Just like you will be soon (hopefully), I’m still learning the ropes and I hope we can make this year, and so many others, a year to remember! So, what are you waiting for? LET’S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS, and make your first year (and mine too) in our FBLA chapter a compelling one! Don’t be afraid to drop by and ask any questions - I’d love to get to know you all personally. :)
